What this site collects

Short version: an email address, only if you type one into the launch form, and it is used for exactly one thing. There are no advertising trackers on this site, no third party analytics, and no cookies set by us.

The launch list

If you enter your email address to be told when the course starts, it is sent to a mailbox on this domain and kept there. You may optionally tick which stage you are at, which is used to decide what to make next and nothing else.

What it is used for:

• Telling you when the first lessons publish.
• Nothing else. It is not sold, rented, traded or shared with any other company.

Every email sent to that list carries an unsubscribe link. You can also ask for your address to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@truckingtutor.com, and it is removed, not flagged.

Server logs

This site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps short lived operational logs of requests, including IP addresses, in order to serve the site and stop abuse. That is Vercel acting as our hosting provider under their own privacy policy. We do not build profiles from those logs and we do not read them routinely.

The launch form applies a short term rate limit keyed on the requesting IP address, in memory only, so the same address cannot submit the form dozens of times a minute. It is discarded within the minute and never written down.

Cookies

This site sets none. There is no login, no cart, no session, and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

YouTube

The lessons are hosted on YouTube. Links here open YouTube in a new tab, and from that point Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply, including whatever they collect about your viewing. No YouTube player is embedded on this site, so simply reading these pages does not hand anything to Google.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children. The minimum age for a commercial driver licence is 18 in every state, and 21 to cross a state line. Do not submit an email address to this site if you are under 13.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask for it to be deleted. Given that the answer is normally “one email address in a mailbox”, this is not a bureaucratic process. Write to contact@truckingtutor.com and it is handled by a person.

Changes

If this ever changes in a way that matters, for instance if analytics or a real email platform is added, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
